How pricing works
What changes the number.
Number of travellers
The cost of the driver and vehicle is fixed, so it splits further with more people. Two travellers pay the most per person; four or six pay noticeably less each.
Season
March, April, October and November are peak. July and August are cheaper because the desert is genuinely hot. Christmas and New Year carry a supplement.
Vehicle
A sedan for two costs less than a 4×4. A group of six needs a minibus, which changes the number again.
Camp standard
Standard, comfort, and luxury desert camps differ by roughly €40–90 per person per night.
Nights on the road
Each extra night adds accommodation and one more driver day.
City guides
A local guide in Marrakech or Fes is charged per day and is optional.
We don't publish fixed prices because a family of six in August isn't the same trip as a couple in March. Tell us your dates and how many of you there are, and we'll send the number with the roadbook — and show you what each part of it pays for.
